Paradee Resort + Spa
Luxurious

What we say:
Paradee Resort lives up to its billing as Samet's ultimate retreat as it is lavish and luxurious. Its stunning 5-star villas have their own private sun deck and several have splash pools, though there's also an infinity pool for all. Sharing the same owner as Le Vimarn and Ao Phrao Resort, this resort opened in late 2006, replacing the easygoing backpacker haven of Ao Kiu Resort. The extravagant villas are more tropical than Thai, with thatched roofs, bamboo furnishings, and draped mosquito nets. The resort is located at Ko Samet's thinnest point, and actually stretches across to both sides — so you can watch the sunrise in the mornings then wander over to the west for the sunset Given the opulence of the rooms and the quality of the beach here, if money were no object, anyone might wish to stay here at least once in their lifetime. Rates are extremely high — but deals can be found if you shop around online.
