Samed Cliff Resort

Good family option

As the name suggests, this resort climbs up the lush green hillside running back from the beach. Though the charming whitewashed bungalows are spacious, spotlessly clean and have a view, they are too close together. The rooms are set some distance from the beach, but many offer good views of the water. All rooms have air-con and include breakfast. The well-placed restaurant does standard Thai and Western food. There is a large swimming pool. The beach, which is across the road, is not much to speak of. The Kiang Talay family room, which can accommodate seven people, is a great deal for families.
