Description
With their army-green concrete walls, the bungalows at Samed Resort look almost like national park barracks. They're set back off the beach, and huddled in a group around a patch of lawn. Inside, they're roomy and quite nice, with burnt-ochre walls, and beds are raised on dark wood lofts. The bathrooms are long and naturally lit with high windows, but have only cold showers. The mattresses are a little small and rather hard, and uncomfortably positioned right under the air-con. They also have a number of more basic bamboo bungalows.

Rooms at Ao Klang Resort are basic though clean, and tiled in cheery shades of pink and blue.
