From the white umbrellas lining its turquoise pool to its dramatic oceanfront entryway, Le Vimarn Resort sets the standard for luxury accommodation on Ko Samet.
With the same wealthy owner as Ao Prao Resort, Samed Club, Baan Ploy Sea, Paradee and Le Vimarn Samed on Ao Wong Duen, Le Vimarn attracts a well-heeled weekend crew while being almost deserted on weekdays. The emphasis here is on pampering, with lavishly comfortable rooms and a range of spa treatments available. The elegantly tropical Thai-style white villas have high woven bamboo ceilings, dark wood trim and spectacular views from their hillside perch. Although they appear to be on top of one another, they're actually quite private and have decks large enough to lie out. The two in-house restaurants offer Thai and Italian cuisine; the hot chocolate souffle served with ice cream is as good as it sounds. The horizon pool is ideally placed next to the beach for a sunset float and cocktail. include breakfast and roundtrip transfer from Ban Phe.
