Ploy Talay Resort
Close to the action

What we say:
During the day this may look like a nondescript place with a few tables and chairs around the front and a block of accommodation to the rear. But at night this place is the centre of Haad Sai Kaew, with one of the only indoor nightclubs and a busy outside bar where fire-jugglers take turns to impress. All of this means, of course, that you don't book in here if you want an early night. The air-con rooms are housed in a two-storey building wrapped behind the reception area. The bright orange walls seem to reflect the energy of the whole place, and while the rooms are clean, you can expect the club to keep rocking until 02:00. The beach is sometimes still littered with refuse from the night before during the mornings, so watch out for beer bottle caps and kebab skewers.
