Description
This two-storey motel-like place is set on artificial-looking landscaped paths, but the pink and aqua rooms are clean and come with all amenities. The best options here are the more private bungalows in the back. Though Saikaew Villa is popular with western couples, it doesn't have much charm or character. It's difficult to see why anyone would stay here, but if all else is full, the rooms are clean and the restaurant good. It gets noisy in the evening. Rates include breakfast but not tax.

I think the Bangalow in the Samed Island costs little bit exepensive.
I stayed 1 night at Sai Kaew Villa with my friends. The room rate is around 1300B.The room has 2-queen size beds,A/C,toilet and water shower(not hot water). It is clean but some people feel it's dim whem the room light is turned on.

I like this place, WE like this place. Friendly, easy stroll out front to beach. Great on-sand restaurant and if we want a fireshow we get to walk a little on the beach. So it's quieter that Ploy Talay. Plor Resort was a dump. This isn't Ko Phangan's Mai Pen Rai bungalows or Bottle Beach, but it's friendly and the setup has character. Old Samet is gone but this is fun and safe. #202 and 203 are big 3 bed family huts in the air. They've a common wall so don't gross out the kids nextdoor mum&dad!

Ploy Talay Resort has a two-storey building wrapped behind the reception area with both fan and air-con rooms.
