Koh Chang Hill Resort
Hillside seaviews

What we say:
On the outskirts of Bang Bao, Koh Chang Hill has a hillside location, overlooking local countryside and out to the distant sea. Well-tended grounds hold darkly varnished wooden bungalows with smallish rooms, and there's a choice between fan bungalows without hot water and air-con rooms with hot water. The rooms are above the quality you usually find at seaside bungalow operations, with sturdy walls, glass windows, and decent balconies, most of which have shade during the day. Negatives are the location up a steep slope and a little out of town; a bit tricky if you're inclined to be intoxicated on your holiday. If seclusion is your thing however, it's great. Prices include breakfast.
