Simple and quiet
Bang Bao, Ko Chang
Trat Province
Tel: (081) 775 8752

Description
In a quiet, private area, Remark Pu-Zi acknowledges its seaside position with a reception area made out of an old wooden fishing boat. Formerly called Baan Ta Lay, it's down an alleyway to the right just before the pier. Simple but generously-sized huts made from bamboo feature private bathrooms with cold shower and western toilet. Others have shared bathrooms, of which the most comfortable and well decorated are placed nearer to the bathrooms. A small sala has hammocks in which to while away the time and absorb the serenity. In the rainy season prepare to be serenaded by the most amazing chorus of frogs in nearby marshlands. There's also a gallery with many works by Ko Chang artists and others who like to capture the island's beauty on canvas.
