At the far southern end of Haad Sai Khao is the classy ChangBuri Resort and Spa. It has both hillside and beachfront accommodation, depending on your budget. The hillside rooms are not such a long walk to reach the sand and the hotel is equipped with a gorgeous turquoise swimming pool dominated by the vista of the mountain behind it. Rooms are attractively decorated, with all the usual flash amenities such as cable TV, phone, fridge and balcony. A small but immaculate bathroom is stocked with toiletries. Across the road are luxurious pool and Jacuzzi villas surrounded by a network of pool style canals, all leading to the splendid seafront infinity edged pool. They are dressed with plasma TV's, huge bathrooms with tub and shower, and huge windows leading to the balcony -- the electric curtains are a clever touch, The better rooms are the pool villas; Jacuzzi villas are a little noisy being so close to the road. Further facilities such as sauna, Jacuzzi, meeting rooms and a barbecue seafood restaurant have recently been completed. All rates include breakfast. Discounts are available for longer stays, typically 20-30% depending on length of stay.
