There's absolutely nothing wrong with Chang Park - well, concrete elephant statuary in the entrance aside -- but it's pretty clear that this is the kind of resort that appeals mainly to Thais visiting on package deals. Fairly old-style, and in some areas in need of a bit of work, wooden bungalows are nevertheless clean, with a full set of spotless white sheets. The single mosquito net centred over twin beds is clearly provided for decorative use only, but otherwise rooms offer satellite TV, air-con and a hot shower. There are also more modern, better appointed hotel-style rooms in an enormous towering building, and a range of wildly overpriced beach houses in various designs.
