Description
One of the few places in town where fan rooms have a hot shower, Kaibae Hut is clean and sterile with concrete bungalows in rigid rows. More modern, larger wooden bungalows to one side are painted an unfortunate yellow, but inside have satellite TV and fans. As you walk down the path to reception you pass a very dirty enclosure with a trio of ostriches and one very big black pig. Over the fence there's a couple of decidedly unhappy looking monkeys lolling about chained to trees. The Kaibae Hut empire has expanded to include a tour company, mini-mart, a few restaurants and an internet cafe. Staff struggle to pay attention to guests.
