It's quite confusing down at the Southern end of Kai Bae Beach as there are a half dozen small resorts packed together, the result of various factions of the original Mam Resort splitting over time. There's only one type of room here, moderate weatherboard bungalows with fan and mosquito net, each one with a differing view of the sea. There are perhaps slightly more rocks in the sea here than at other spots on Kai Bae, but it's still predominantly sand. One thing to bear in mind; this resort often caters to Thai groups, and on these days foreign tourists might as well be invisible as the service really suffers.
