Aana Resort & Spa
Stunning resort, mediocre staff

What we say:
Nestled into a corner of the immense mangrove forest, Aana is shaping up to be one of the most beautiful resorts on Ko Chang. Certainly the hilltop cottages, although a little small, are refreshingly designed in a circular arrangement and decorated in gorgeous white and cream. Individual balconies all feature a private Jacuzzi, from which to view the nearby mountains. Other amenities are in abundance from the huge TV to complimentary wine. The rooftop infinity swimming pool and bar have near 360-degree views, and there's a second larger pool down beside the mangroves. A host of other facilities are on offer, including a spa with yoga, massages and treatments. Although the location is secluded, it is only a five-minute walk to the nearby beach. Unfortunately Aana gets more than its fair share of complaints regarding poor service and on our visit we were struck by the overall mediocrity of the staff and standard of service -- if you seek friendly and efficient service, look elsewhere.

Great place for a special occasion
Had an amazing three days here staying in one of their villas. Really well designed rooms with even an open air jacuzzi included and beautifully set in amazing grounds with two infinity pools. Only slight down side was the resturant which lacked a bit of life in the evenings.
