Chock Dee is a perfect example of a very Thai-style resort with a tightly packed grid of matching bungalows identical to those in several other nearby resorts. Rooms are very clean, although getting a little worn in patches. Bathrooms are basic: fan rooms boast squat toilets and cold showers, while air-con rooms have hot water. Bungalows come in a range of sizes, sleeping up to 20 people. For a breeze and a view, choose those by the sea, even though it's a rock rather than sand beach.
