Tiger Huts
Simply done huts by the beach

What we say:
No-frills, thatched huts lined the beach at this spot which opened in 2005. The incorporated Tiger Bar has a pool table and a cool chill-out area. Tiger Huts offers far better value than the similarly set-up K.P. Huts next door, but it's still overpriced for what you get. The vast majority of the 20 or so rooms share bathrooms, but the management is slowly converting the to en-suite rooms. The restaurant has an excellent BBQ every night which draws customers from many of the other resorts as well. Not a bad spot for a few nights, but there's not really any atmosphere like you'd find at Lonely Beach or Bailan Bay. The beach is absolutely perfect however -- if your looking for a cheap hut to hang your hammock, read a book and play on the beach, no need to look any further.

Tiger Huts Koh Chang
Stayed at the Tiger huts from 21/08/09 -23/08/09 and though basic rooms we bartered for a good price , ‘Tiger’ the owner is a very friendly guy who made us very welcome as did the rest of the staff ! Good food and cheap beer was available until late and free food was also laid on when Tiger organized a fire show on the beach . All in All I would say well worth a few nights however if you are a light sleeper you may be disturbed by the gentle lapping of the waves right out side your front door :D , but hey! for 250 baht a night you can live with that !
