Khlong Chao Sea View
Isolated but cheap

What we say:
With no real discernible sea view, but only a short 100 metre walk to the beach, this budget guesthouse is pretty much in the middle of nowhere. Small, basic bungalows present some of the cheapest accommodation on Ko Kut, and you get precisely what you pay for; not much in terms of glamour but it's a roof over your head and an acceptable bed. Although they are nothing to write home about, the huts are clean and presentable, with a basic open air bathroom out the back, which has clearly been added on after the bungalow was originally built. An on site restaurant is the saving grace here, serving decent Thai food at very respectable prices. If they have fish available its well worth opting for that as the people here really know how to cook. The staff were very friendly and welcoming when we visited and will do their uttermost to make you feel welcome.
