Description
Definitely very popular with the package tourists, and packed to the rafters with a Thai convention when we visited, this is probably not the kind of place an independent traveller will have much luck with. The grounds however are large, pleasant and casual, with plenty of beach frontage. Bungalows dotted around the edge of the grounds are all air-con, however those by the sea are considered VIP, and feature extras such as hot showers and satellite tv, although they are the same size as their standard counterparts. Services on site include massage, seafood restaurant, meeting room, karaoke and plenty of water sports equipment.

On the crest of a small hill overlooking the seaport, Shantaa is definitely the most attractive and elegant resort on Ko Kut. Large bungalows are simply, yet stylishly decorated in gleaming wood. Air-con, they have two large beds, monogrammed towels and balconies looking out to sea. Private... more
Dusita Resort
Baan Gamko, Ko Kut
Dusita Resort offers a collection of attractive wooden bungalows in a private setting with a nearby sandy beach. Factor in the detail that a couple of these have a fairly decent price tag -- for the area -- and you have an appealing mix. Rooms have a choice of fan or air-con, all with private... more
Bai Kood Shambala Resort
Ko Kut
High on a well mown hill, bungalows at Shambala all face out towards the picturesque vista of a small lagoon, separated from the sea by a long white beach. Package tourists gambol on the grass, and frolic in kayaks on the lagoon. Four room styles are offered, funky tiny little bathroomless huts to... more
The Beach Natural Resort
47 Moo 5, Ko Kut
Like most places on Ko Kut, The Beach Natural Resort caters almost entirely to package trips booked in Bangkok. Attractive in layout and setting, the resort is in a fairly secluded area. The quiet was ruined when we visited by a huge Thai package group being egged on over a karaoke style... more
