T.K. Huts
Shady spot by the beach

What we say:
T.K. Huts offers comfortable, but rather plain bungalows amid a shady forest canopy. It's been run by a German man and his Thai wife for years and they had a steady flow of regulars passing through, but unfortunately last year saw the passing of the German manager, Michel. His wife and associates have continued to run the resort, but it's too soon to tell if they will pull it off; it's a huge place with big grounds and demands a lot of work; anyone who stayed in the past will have been familiar with Michel's constant tending of the land and huge work ethic. Rooms are all quite old but until now have been kept well, with many now upgraded to air-con.The bigger bungalows are closer to the beach, which has some splendid sand and awesome views. The resort can provide motorbikes, kayaks and snorkelling trips, and from time to time have some home made breads and pastries.

Nice and friendly
Stayed for 6 nights and we paid 750 baht/night for a fan bungalow but that included an excellent breakfast for 2 persons, and this was just after New Years so it may have been more expensive because of that. The staff is really friendly and helpful and the restaurant has great food in big portions.
