Holiday Beach Resort
Ao Kao, Ko Maak
A reasonable value low-scale resort a few minutes walk north from T.K. Hut on a particularly scenic part of the beach. Holiday Beach Resort is a group of white, weatherboard bungalows set around a pleasant manicured garden. The more expensive bungalows are larger and have views looking out through... more

Island Huts
Ao Kao, Ko Maak

The bigger bungalows are closer to the beach, which gets a bit rocky at this end of Ao Kao. The... more

Baan Ing Kao
North-western end of Ao Kao, Ko Maak
Over a hugely steep hill at the northern end of Ao Kao beach it's often the forgotten resort of Ko Maak, despite having been here for years. The stunning secluded bay is nestled alongside an old fishing village which provides scenes from yesteryear. The basic but respectable huts are set onto the... more

Sunset
Southern Point, Ko Mak
Sunset is one of those places that you either love or hate. It has a typical traveller vibe and sees many of the same faces each year who come back for the laid back lifestyle which is mainly made up of hanging about in hammocks. There's no sand here as such as its located on a rocky headland, but... more
