How about a house?
Stretching down the forested hill across the road from Thaidaho Vista, Good Time specialises in island house rental for families or groups of friends.
Each house is different from the next and sizes range from a single-floor villa up to an impressive three-storey, three-bedroom, two-bathroom home. The spacious houses have an elegant Thai design with polished hardwood or glossy white tile floors, traditional Thai art, tall pointed roofs and numerous terraces reachable by wooden stairways. We're talking plush here: every room is equipped with air-con, soft king-size beds, multiple sofas, dining room tables, LCD TVs, DVD players and mini-kitchens. Accommodation is reasonably priced for all you get. The resort has the feel of an island community, with many guests reserving their house of choice for yearly family holidays. Buffet breakfast and a good range of Thai and Western food are served in a cosy lounge area, and the service is excellent. The resort also offers a spa and small but relaxing swimming pool, which comes in handy as it's a 10-minute walk to the beach at Ao Suan Yai, or 15 minutes over to Ao Kao. Each house comes at a different price, so you're best off poking around on the website to see what suits you.
