Description
This clearly popular seafood restaurant was busy when we visited, particularly considering the relatively remote location. The rest of the resort is unexciting, with a range of ramshackle bungalows. Rooms range from adjoined bare wooden rooms right near the restaurant, to better and more private bungalows set a little further back in a quite pretty garden. These are rather dated, however, with ancient fittings and tattered lino on the floor. Newer air-con rooms have Thai TV and are in much better condition. Snorkelling equipment is available for rent and various seaside activities can be arranged.

Baan Jek Bae
Very basic wooden bamboo huts stand in the middle of nowhere. Bathrooms have a cold shower and bucket flush toilet, while bedrooms feature fairly solid mattresses and are inexplicably adorned with FHM's topless playmate of the month. Currently un-landscaped, there is little in the nearby scenery to... more

This is another homestay option where you trade in your normal to live like a Thai for a few days. The homestay is in a big old house on stilts, built out of teak in the traditional Thai fashion. There's nothing to get your heart beating faster here, about the most excitement to be had is going... more
