White Rock Resort

Set down a side road off Rte.

2243 (it's a left if heading away from Pak Chong, look for the signs), White Rock is a unique resort set on a hillside with stunning views of the surrounding mountains -- it's almost reminiscent of a Sicilian mountain villa. Double rooms literally look like square white rocks shooting out of the ground, and inside they're basic but comfortable with firm queen size beds on platforms, fridge, TV, little pink tables, and modern and clean hot water bathrooms. They also offer a three room family lodge -- although it's really three separate units in one connected building -- and they have large tents also with queen size beds and most of the same comforts as the rooms, although bathrooms are shared if staying in a tent. There is a small café on site and the owner is friendly and welcoming. Though you can find a better room for the price, White Rock's setting is among the most scenic in the area.
