A bright and airy family home, The Old Phimai Guest House, is down a small soi opposite Boonsiri Guesthouse. The large common area downstairs features a cluttered shared kitchen area with facilities to make your own meals and self-service snacks and drinks, while the walls are lined with information about the area. The guesthouse can also organise guides and tours. The friendly family also provides internet for 20 B an hour and reasonably priced laundry services. Upstairs, spotless rooms share equally clean bathrooms. While two have air-con and small cement balconies, the fan rooms in the main house are bigger and have more character with their fresh mint-coloured paint and charming shutter doors.
