Ruan Thai Guesthouse
Pleasant small garden

What we say:
Ruan Thai is located just beyond the western reaches of Tha Sadej market, among several excellent food options and small late-night bars. It boasts a very pleasant small garden out front and well sized yet cosy wood-accented rooms. The fan rooms are comparable in quality to those with air-con, and each room contains a refrigerator, a handy storage space for all the goodies you’ll want to buy at the market. Bathrooms are fully equipped with hot water, and the entire place is very clean. The staff here are particularly friendly. Bicycles and motorbikes are available for rent at fairly standard and reasonable prices (30 baht for bikes, 200 baht for the scooters). Excellent choice for those with slightly more cash to

Cant complain
While Nong Khai may not be the nicest town in Thailand, Ruan Thai is a decent place to stay. Rooms are small with comfortable beds but do tend to be a bit noisy.

Quiet Hours Prevail
Very nice little guesthouse but also has a 9 pm quiet hour time. The walls are paper thin and you can hear everything from neighboring rooms. Otherwise it's clean and a nice place, yet expensive compared to other options in town.

Good place to relax!
The room was clean and quiet and we could use WiFi in our room, which was very convenient. The location was also nice, near the river there were many restaurants. The family was friendly and we felt like we were at home! We recommend Ruan Thai Guesthouse!

A very pleasant place to stay
Good value, clean and comfortable. Everyone was helpful. Nice place to chill in the leafy garden and provided hot water for our early morning cuppa. Would stay again.

Nice guesthouse
Nice quiet guesthouse. We stayed in an air con room which was more than adequate and good value for money. The only complaint I would have was that the bed was very hard. Staff were friendly and location was excellent.

My nightmare
This guesthouse has a very nice view but it is very noisy. We couldn't sleep for all 4 nights we were there. Don't pay in advance like me, just pay day by day and you will see!

Lovely!
The Ruan Thai Guest House is lovely, the rooms are spotless and immaculate and look out into a little garden area with coffee shop and food. The owners are lovely and their children gave us little clay pots as presents. Friendliest place we stayed in Thailand!
