What we say:

This is another guesthouse with a view, situated across the road from the riverside promenade just west of Tha Sadej market. The biggest strong points of Khiangkhong are its location, and the second and third floor balconies, which allow guests an excellent view of the river and its sunsets. Rooms are clean but generic, and frankly a bit small for the price, but the bathrooms are well equipped and the staff are friendly. Cable TV comes standard, and there is free coffee for all in the morning. This is a reasonable choice if other guesthouses in the area are full, but it's a bit difficult to justify the price otherwise.
