Description
This very centrally located hotel is a comfortable, though basic choice. Don't expect bright shining, palacial bathrooms, particularly in the pretty dire fan rooms. Like the Tokyo, the Krung Thong is primarily a cheap hotel for travelling business-people. The staff and management here are friendly, but hardly any English is spoken. There is a Turkey Bath signposted as being next door -- sounds interesting...

The rooms are not bad value, they are clean and while not huge are adequate in size with spotless bathrooms. Management can arrange car hire... more

Tokyo Hotel
360 Uparat Rd
The Tokyo has two wings, the old and the new and the old wing, rundown way back in '93 remains dingy, dark and dodgy -- go for the new wing if at all. While the staff are pretty chatty and welcoming, the rooms are considerably less so. The rooms in the new wing, while clean and not too small are... more
