Charoensri Palace Hotel
Pretty good value

What we say:
The rooms at the aging Charoensri Palace are quiet good value by Udon Thani's standards. All the rooms are air-con with hot water bathrooms and some of the rooms have bathtubs. The rooms are pretty cleam though, like the hotel in general they're aging. The hotel is a little away from the main bar-scene in Udon and the train station, but if you're just passing through, this is adequate.

Value for money!
I had a double room, air con with fridge and a big bathroom with hot water. The room was cleaned every day. Friendly and helpful staff.

OK hotel
This was an ok place to stay but I thought the room was a bit overpriced. The room did include a fridge, hot water in the bathroom, carpet (!) and a TV, but the decor and facilities were old and faded. The shower rail in the bathroom fell off.
