Malee's Nature Lovers Bungalows

A slice of paradise

What we say: 4 stars

Malee's Nature Lovers Bungalows is just that -- a great spot for nature lovers to relax in the beautiful surrounds of Chiang Dao. This very friendly spot has a range of options to suit most budgets, with all the bungalows resting in a pleasant and lush garden setting. The bungalows are in good condition with clean bathrooms and tiled floors. Their spacious honeymoon suite is a cut above the rest and would make for a good splurge (it was pointed out to us that you don't have to be on honeymoon to be able to use the room). On the other side of the spectrum, the rooms with shared bathroom are also comfortable, and fairly inexpensive, though the bathrooms and showers themselves seemed a bit neglected. The restaurant is predominantly Thai food, with many delicious options to choose from. Free WiFi can be used anywhere on the premises, and the small swimming pool is a nice bonus for kids. Bicycles and motorbikes are available for rent, and tours, hikes and treks can easily be arranged through Malee. Overall, an excellent choice for all, whether you hope to explore the jungle or simply kick back and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere.
