Mon & Kurt's Restaurant and Guesthouse
Centrally located, foreigner friendly

What we say:
This Thai-German establishment takes up living space above the shopfronts directly across the main road from Soi 25, which leads out to the cave. Though most of the rooms were either full or not yet ready at the time of our visit, those that were available were large, clean and comfortably furnished. The restaurant on the ground floor serves both Thai and Western fare, and the menu was quite large. Beer lovers will be happy to learn that a varied selection of imports from Europe are on hand, but be forewarned: anything imported into Thailand carries a higher price tag. English, German, and Thai are all spoken, but while convenient to the main road, this budding guesthouse has little else to offer as of yet, aside from some schnitzel and an easy-to-find location.
