A drab exterior hides old-style grandeur at the Suriwongse, right in the centre of the night market. A huge number of rooms available in different sizes come with elegant old-world Thai style and full amenities. The hotel also boasts a Thai and European restaurant, bar, and a well shaded swimming pool. Substantial discounts are available for walk-in customers and during low season.

Nice except pool - 12th April, 2005
They must have re-modelled because the lobby is lovely. Great value for 1300B but the pool gets absolutely no sun.

An older style hotel right in the heart of the action of the night bazaar. Staff very helpful. Good value for money AUS$30 for a double. Stayed 3 nights in March 2007.
