Big Rooms and a Great Location
The Na Inn was a great hotel. We paid 650 baht in the high season for a great king size room. It was a very large room with air-con,a full size fridge, tv, table etc... It was clean and in a great location in the old city. Minute walk from the Sunday Walking Street and Temples. The best part was the incredible view from our room looking right at the Chedi Temple, so request Room 401. The only downside, is the street can be noisy at night and there is not much atmosphere.

Great location and quiet
Located in the old city, big clean room (401),a/c, tv,fridge,3 water, balcony with views of the mountains,no smoking in rm but ok on balcony, quiet at night, safe at reception. If you don't like stairs then not for you. Manager Meow has good english and very helpful. Let me use their PC plus Meow ordered a carton of cigs for me no extra charge.Want a twin rm then get 301.See their website

Huge room, friendly staff, good location
We stayed at Na Inn for 2 nights at King room no 402. We paid THB 650 per night. The room itself is huge, in contrast to the bathroom which minimalistic I must say (but it’s clean and the shower has the curtain and you do not splash the water all over the place) and dimly lit. There is a big fridge, TV, A/C, small balcony, table with chairs, a big wardrobe. The room is on the highest floor and has great views of Wat Chedi Luang, especially in the morning. The staff is very friendly and also run a small shop connected to the inn (very convenient for buying all kinds of beverages). The location is pretty good – you are within walking distance of all major attractions like Wat Chedi Luang, Wat Phra Sing and also the Night Bazaar or Sunday Market (so called Sunday Walking Street – do not miss it, especially the food stalls located at the temples’ grounds). There are some restaurants nearby as well as internet cafes. On the downside: the room cleaning services need improving and an in-room safe would be convenient –we could lock our valuables only at one of the boxes at the reception. Also the heat in the corridor was unbearable (July), they should invest in installing fans at least. Overall, it is good value for money and good place to start your exploration of the old city.

Best room so far!
As the title says, this is the best room we've stayed in so far, by a mile. I would say it's 3-4 star hotel standard. Double bed, air con, balcony, sofa, fridge and big bathroom. All spotlessly clean. Real quality. It's in a great location, breakfast is free (just toast & jam, tea & coffee), there's free wifi and they even put three free bottles of water in your fridge each day. The downside is a lack of common area and general traveller community, and there's no restaurant. Not really needed with so many local eateries though. There's a mini mart on the ground floor and bike hire & laundry places next door. The staff are very friendly and there's no trekking/tour pressure. We were quoted 650b, but got this down to 550b, although we did stay 5 nights. Highly recommended.

Very Freindly
This was the first place i stayed on a 2 month backpacking trip. It was a little above my budjet but more then worth it. The room was BIG, much more so then everywhere else i stayed, with balcony and fridge(with free drinking water). What was best however was the staff- they were so nice especially as was ill for the 1st few days and the room was cleaned daily. Would definetly recommend to anyone who is tired of grimy 'travellers lodges' but doesnt want to pay loads for a smart hotel.

Very accommodating
We arrived off the overnight train from Bangkok at 8am and were happily surprised that we were able to check in immediately! The rooms are enormous and comfortably appointed, very quiet and in a central location. The staff were very cheerful and a pleasure to deal with. The breakfast isn't up to much, but there's plenty of other good food around. Excellent value overall.

4star quality for 2star price
is the slogan of the NA INN and its quite appropriate. Even if the concrete building is not really a charming affair, for just 650 baht you get a quiet huge spotless room facing a green garden (or not so quiet but with a balcony facing the street and a view of doi suthep) big plus: tiled cool clean floors, sofa, huge fridge with cold water every day and a store downstairs to fill it with beer etc. breakfast in the lobby a stile-lacking affair but does its job with toast and really good coffee. staff is very very friendly and helpful and just always there. overall it lacks the charm of some traditional thai houses but is a clean, safe and cool place to come back to to relax after a day in the heat. thumbs up!

Yup, It's Really Good
Paid 650 for a room with a king bed. Very large room withe almost floor-to-ceiling windows on one wall, so very light during the day. My room faced east, but it's hard for me to imagine that anyone in this building has a view of Doi Suthep temple, except on a clear morning with powerful binoculars. The room floor was of blonde wood, or may-be good quality faux-wood verneer. Whatever, it added to the overall brightnes of the room. The pale creamy yellow walls were totally unadorned, which did feel a bit stark. Furniture is mostly dark wood, and of pretty good quality, i.e. the armoir doors slide smoothly and quietly. I wish they'd finished tearing off the plastic sheeting the chairs and small sofa came wrapped in; the remaining edges of plastic peeking out were less classy than the room as a whole. The shower area was very large and, yes, isn't an actual shower curtain a treat? For $20 (US)/night in Chiang Mai, it's a great deal. Your mom would probably be perfectly happy here.

Immaculate
Wonderful rooms and very good value. Oversize fridges were a big plus as we could buy snacks and beer and they stayed nice and cold. Beds were firm but large and comfortable. Our room was cleaned daily to spotless specifications no matter how messy we were. In fact the place seemed to be almost hospital-like in cleanliness. Part way through our stay we went on a three night motorbike trip to Pai. The owners were happy to look after our bags for us while we were gone, at no charge. The convenience store below is a bonus as you don't have to make the trek to a 7-11 to get a cola. The only problem with the place was it was so nice in comparison to what we were used to that we stayed too long and our room bill ended up being a bit of a surprise! On a side note we rented motorbikes through Na Inn and weren't thrilled. The company that rents the bikes isn't actually owned by the same owners as Na Inn but there is some sort of arrangement there. In the end we had 3 flat tires on our trip which i guess is somewhat common, but the tires themselves were quite worn down which was probably why. We had to pay for all of our repairs and in exchange they didn't charge us for returning the bike late!

Good value
Stayed two blocks of two nights each in between Mae Hong Son loop excursion. Great value for money; clean, friendly, good location. Stored one of our backpacks for free whilst we were away. Free WiFi as well although signal is a bit weak in the upper rooms.

Quiet location
The thing i liked most about Na Inn was that is was so nice and quiet, The street it is located on is not that quiet, but in our room it was blissfully silent. very modern and clean rooms with free bathroom products and water bottles cooled in the in room fridge. each day the room was cleaned well and water replaced. Highly recommend for those wanting some extra comforts! oh yeah, the staff are great too!

Excellent
We stayed here having read all the rave reviews. Na Inn lived up to them! Lovely, helpful staff, comfortable beds, bathroom, TV and fridge. Very handy shop downstairs and the laundry right next door was useful, good and cheap. Toast and coffee in the morning - good. All in all, a great place to stay. Also very near to Rose Restaurant where we had several delicious meals and watched the tennis on a big screen. We paid 600 baht per night for a twin.

best and cheapest of the trip
To add to what has already been said about this great place: Staff is super nice and will help you as best they can, and the main lady who seems to run things speaks good english. They are also fast at responding to emails, I made reservations via the form on the website and they responded within 12 hours or so. There is a laundry place right next door that charges a very reasonable 30 baht/kg. Bottom line, even if you have a higher budget you should check this place out, especially if the 4th floor rooms are available.

Fantastic find in Chiang Mai
We stayed at Na Inn for a few nights while visiting Chiang Mai and we were very pleased with the quality of the hostel. The room was spacious, nicely appointed and spotless and the hotel staff cleaned it each day. We particularly liked the fact that we had a fridge in the room and that there is a convenience store downstairs complete with hot water kettle. Toast and coffee in the morning was a bonus too...all in all, great value for a very comfortable place to stay.

Highly Recommended
The best room we stayed in while in Thailand. Huge and super clean room with air-con, big fridge, dining table, gigantic bed, and living room area, sat tv with a balcony overlooking a Wat. All of the furniture seemed new. The shower was even separated from the rest of the bathroom which is not usual in budget accommodations. I understand that some of the rooms are nicer then others. I suggest requesting room 401.

+Very clean, A/C, Fridge, towels, soap, TV (English including BBC, CNN, AL Jazeera, and a couple more) large rooms, new furniture and fittings. Next door to a really efficient laundry service. Small store downstairs. Free WiFi. Good location. -No bar or other area to hang out in (lot's of bars, etc in the immediate area) Sometimes unreliable TV/WiFi but no big deal. Staff sometimes talk very loudly in the morning, which echoes up the stairs and can be annoying (but they are very helpful and friendly) Could not get a discount even though I was staying several nights (%+ - may be available for repeat visits though). Paid THB 650 for a King size. They offer King and Twin only. Very good value. Would stay again.

You can find a cheaper place, but can't beat this value
I got a Dbl AC with cable for 500 baht during the low season (they quoted me 550 though). This is the best value I saw my entire month in SE Asia. The bed, while firm, was comfortable. The bathroom is clean and even had a shower curtain. You get a balacony and a fridge. The room even had (fake) leather chairs and nice glass top tables. There is a mart on the ground floor and the staff were great. The location is also in the middle of everthing. Although there are cheaper places around, this is a great value for the money.
