Yourhouse Guesthouse
One good building, one firetrap

What we say:
This place has two buildings, a small wooden house and a multi-storey concrete job down the road. Overall this is quiet a good budget traveller option. The rooms were clean and cheap with a bathroom and hot shower, though we have heard that if you don't book their trekking trips the guesthouse might suddenly become full. The restaurant in the wooden building is pleasant and has a pool table. Staff get good reports.

Good value, small issues.
I stayed in the 'wooden building', shared bath for 200 baht. The owner (Sin) and female staff are all very nice. Small inconvenience, but 6 double rooms, share a single toilet/shower. The rooms here (all on the second floor) are quite nice though, solid teak and not 'too' small. Many French stay here. WIFI only on the ground floor, but I had to cross the street to connect.??? Noisy area for barking dogs. Still, for 200 baht a good value.

Clean, friendly, good value
Very friendly owner, good food. Rooms basic but clean and big- in a triple fan. Shared facilities fine. Comfortable and very good value! Bit of noise from one of the near by bars but didn't spoil my nights sleep!

Now a 3rd building
Just opposite the YourHouse1, in a concrete building (much nicer than YourHouse2) you find very comfortable rooms, with cable TV, bathtube, nice decoration. Price vary 700-1,000 baht depending on rooms

Quiet and friendly
We stayed in a twin room with fan. The room is basic, no frills, but clean. We also had hot water. We booked the hill trek here too. The host, WanChan is super friendly and helpful... we still keep in touch.

A bit run-down
We stayed here in the middle of the King's anniversary (national holiday in Thailand) and all the other hostels were fully booked. This was our fourth choice and rightly so. Although it was very cheap (250B for a single bedroom with A/C) it was a bit shabby and the shower didn't work at all. Nevertheless the location is very good and the owners are friendly.

Quiet, Clean and Friendly
Paid 250 baht for a double room with fan and hot water. Near lots of cool bars but far enough that music won't keep you up at night. Don't eat at the cafe unless you are fine with waiting 20 minutes for coffee and toast.
