RCN is a very popular long-term choice and is often full for months in advance, so a reservation is highly recommended -- their monthly rates are very competitive. The rooms are nothing special, a basic bed and desk and TV along with a bathroom that cold do with facelift, A small internet cafe is onsite. Good English is spoken.

* Travelfish researchers visit and review properties on an anonymous basis. By that we mean they show up, in person, and pretend to be either be a potential guest, or somebody looking for a room for a friend or relative. Where possible the researcher will inspect at least a couple of rooms. The rates you see above are what either the desk staff told us they were, or what were in the brochure when they just told us to quit bugging them and look in the brochure. Good Location Good Value - 22nd August, 2009
I've stayed at RCN Court on many occasions over the past few years. Its major attraction is its central location. Walking distance to markets, bars and restaurants along one of the picturesque sois.
The building itself is looking a little tired. The ensuite toilets could do with a makeover and the supplied towels were a bit thread bare. The new management has made some cosmetic improvements and I guess you get what you pay for. Rooms are clean and everything seems to work.
The new management seem friendly enough and keen to please. The rooms can get pretty warm. Good thing air con is standard. I paid around 6,500 baht for a month for a room facing the wat. Slightly cooler than the south facing rooms. A big plus is the very low 2,000 baht deposit for monthly stays. All in all good value for a room in that part of town.
