What we say:

The good old Imperial is our pick among the selection of large chain hotels situated in this part of town due mainly to the fact that, despite it being a large concrete block like all the others, it does manage to fit in a very welcome garden and outdoor pool area. Otherwise the smart lobby and equally smart rooms are standard four-star-ish fare, coming with the usual service and facilities. Despite the huge number of rooms it is popular and can fill up, particularly with tour or conference groups, during high season. Considering the quality of the rooms it's also a very good deal. If it is full try the Suriwongse or Yang Come Village.
