What we say:

A lot of new accommodation has sprung up in this part of town including several of the flashy Lanna style places — think lots of wood, white walls and plenty of objets d'art scattered around — and this is definitely one of the best of the bunch. But while it's one of the best of this category it still has some of the most reasonable low season prices. (High season rates are high though!) Rooms come with what you'd expect from a four-star resort: wide-screen TV, DVD player, WiFi, bathtub, tea- and coffee-making facilities and of course plenty of tasteful north Thai decorations, paintings and carvings. There's a large pool, lush garden and excellent restaurant, all wrapped into a good central yet quiet location. Staff, when we visited, were extremely helpful and friendly. Their rates seemed very confusing though — so best to check their website and the below is just a rough idea.
