What we say:

Past the market, over the bridge, (as if you're heading to Doi Inthanon), then just in front of you at the t-junction you'll see the tiny and tucked away Smile House. Three wood and bamboo chalets are constructed off wooden walkways over what, in the dry season may pass for a garden, but in the rainy season is more of a swamp. Anyway rooms are simple and basic but ok with bathrooms attached, mossie nets and small balconies. There are two small huts and one larger, slightly sturdier affair. Staff are friendly, though you may have to ask at the shop next door in order to find someone, and rates are cheap if you can't stretch to more, so this is adequate for one night. No cafe or drinks but you're just 100m from the market.
