What we say: 
Cross over the bridge and turn left at the t-junction where Smile House is situated, walk another 100m or so and you'll come across the Pamview Hotel, Mae Chaem's smartest establishment. Well it's only relative and Mae Chaem is an out of the way little town, but if you feel more comfortable in a more hotel than bungalow type environment, or if the former location is full up with weekenders, then this is the one for you. A large wooden and concrete building set in a small garden, its rooms aren't really any better than Mae Chaem Hotel and prices are pretty comparable. There is a choice of air-con or fan rooms, all with en-suite bathroom and all comfortable enough though nothing fancy. Drinks are available but no food, though that may change during the high season.
