Tha Ton Garden Riverside Resort
Very well located budget option

What we say:
Just upstream from the amusingly out of place Tha Ton Chalet, this rather inexpensive resort is pleasant, though plain. The fan rooms are very basic, and while the rooms with air-con are quite a bit more spacious, they add little in the way of personality or charm. The location on the other hand can't be beat, and it is actually a bit of a surprise — a welcome one — that they can keep prices so low with such a prime spot. There is WiFi and TV in every room, and a restaurant on site which follows suit with the rest of the resort — a bit plain, but with reasonable prices. All in all, you won't find a cheaper spot on the river worth staying in, so those trying to pinch pennies would be well served to head straight here.

The phone number listed is out of service and when I was there last week the place was practically empty ie. only one guest yet they wanted 450 Bhat for one of their fan only, garden bungalows with the hard, hard mattresses. So I Went to Apples instead.
