What we say:

Jansom is at the far end of Jedyod Road, so if there were any late night revelries in the entertainment centre of Chiang Rai, guests would not hear it. The hotel looks more like an apartment block but the rooms are a decent size, and come with air-con, fridge, cable TV and king-sized bed. For the price this is very good value. Being close to the night scene is a plus, because among the massage shops and bars are some very good restaurants.

clean and comfortable

Stayed in room 301 for 450 baht. Room has wifi, cable TV fridge and air con. Free breakfast is toast with watery jam and instant coffee. You can get much better elsewhere. The location is very good, just a short walk to many restaurants and the bus station. My room had a great view of the local wat. Quiet at night. Staff are a little slow to smile but when warmed up quite friendly.

unasuming guest house

I found this place to be handy and helpful ..The staff wrent too good at english but they sure tried hard ..I thought my room smelt a bit ,,but for the price ,,I thought ..ok !! I then worked out that the smell was a mosquito repellant ..I dont think there were many around tho
