One of the tallest and most noticeable buildings in Kamphaeng Phet, the Chakungrao is impossible to miss near the night market on Tesa 1.
While similarly equipped, the cheapest rooms are smaller but more expensive than those at nearby Navarat Heritage. The advantages here are attached balconies with direct views over the river, and perhaps a warmer and more inviting ambiance inside the rooms. All rooms are outfitted with parquet wood floors, air-con, desks, safes, TVs, WiFi and minibars. Superior rooms are considerably larger than standards. The hotel offers a spa, restaurant, karaoke rooms, bicycle rental and a handful of communal computers in the airy lobby. It has a friendly, professional staff who can speak a little English, and overall it's a fine choice for a comfy room with a good view.
