Description
A large chain hotel, Imperial Tara has all the accoutrements of the genre: pool, fitness room, sauna, restaurants, conference rooms, gardens backing on to the river and courteous staff. The modern, Lanna-style rooms are large, with crisp white sheets, phone, fridge, mini-bar, TV with English-language channels, hair dryer, safe and balcony. Decor is simple but elegant. Suite rooms are the same but larger, with the addition of a bath to the bathroom. All rooms include breakfast. The Golden Teak restaurant is a terrific spot for lunch or a romantic dinner, with views out over the teak filled valleys. The bilingual staff can help arrange tours, treks, and airport transfers.
