Lintfah Camping
Also has decent bungalows.

What we say:
Just before the entrance to the village on the right hand side if you're coming from Mae Hong Son town is Lin Fah Camping. Set on a wooded hillside this 'camp site' also has its own rather good wooden chalets as well as renting out tents should you have a desire to camp but not happen to have brought your own tent with you. Having said that, hiring a tent that has seen better days for 200 (...ish baht -- price negotiable depending upon size of tent, season etc) or going for a not too bad at all private chalet with bathroom for 300 baht isn't much of a toss-up as far as we're concerned. There aren't many chalets however so tents are mainly aimed at overflow Thai travellers during the high season. Chalets come with balcony and aforementioned en-suite bathroom. They may well need a bit of airing and dusting during the low season before you move in and high season you'd be lucky to find one available anyway but if you want a bit of peace and quiet, have your own transport but don't want to be too far from town then this isn't a bad option during low season. Service is minimal but friendly and there is a restaurant that functions during busy periods only.
