Just off Chaisongkran Road -- go to the end by the footbridge and bear left to find it -- this pleasant spot is close to the river though not quite on it, which could be an advantage during a heavy rainy season. Not to be confused with the more average Family Hut on the opposite side of the river, chalets and simple A-frames are set, reasonably well spaced apart, in a pleasant garden. The older A-frames are pretty small and very basic albeit cheap during low season, but the newer, larger concrete and wooden chalets are a good deal. Former have shared bathrooms, latter en suite, some with TV and some without, and all fan-only. Staff are helpful and friendly and there's a simple cafe and restaurant for guests.
