Popular Pravee has a great garden and is in a good location as well. The owners also run the nearby Palm House (basic but okay if all else is full), and the similarly okay-but-nothing-special Taiyai Guesthouse, but try the much nicer Pravee first. It is a fairly cramped spot but their efforts with the garden and decoration and the friendly atmosphere result in more of an overall impression of intimacy than claustrophobia, so good on them! Two kinds of rooms are hidden away among the manicured jungle, individual chalets and rooms in a larger block. All are well maintained, clean and come with en suite hot showers with either air-con (newer chalets) or fan.

I only stayed one night ,,but enjoyed its unpretentious and honest vibe ..I also checked out the cooking school 50 mtes down the street ..The owner was rude and intoxicated at 3 pm ,,unusual for Thai woman

Great budget option - 7th August, 2005
Paid 200 baht for double with fan. Immaculate rooms with hot showers. Beds are a little too firm but the rooms are spacious and you get free coffee and tea service delivered to your porch every morning.
