Mr Jan's Guesthouse
Great, quiet garden setting

What we say:
A little bit hard to find lying as it does down a side street off Chaisongkran Road, Mr Jan's is well worth the effort. Chalets are dotted around a delightful garden which is decorative as well as functional since it's primarily used for growing herbs used in their herbal saunas and for massages. It's in a quiet location and has good but very cheap chalets, all with en suite bathrooms. Choose between older, smaller chalets or newer larger ones with only a small supplement charged for high season. Staff are friendly. A good deal!

Central, green & quiet
I stayed in several other places in Pai but fell in love with Mr Jan's guesthouse. The guesthouse is set in a maze of herbs & plants. My bungalow was one of the older ones: it came with en-suite bathroom & hot shower, basic but charming! There was a balcony outside where we spent many a night playing guitar & enjoying a few drinks before heading out. Mr Jan & his family were lovely hosts and I wish I'd had time to complete his aromatherapy course!

Large Bungalow
Came in during peak season. Local thai waw on holidays too. Most guesthouse are full. We were lucky to have Mr Jan's. A large bungalow with 2 queen size bed and 1 single bed. Enough to fit 5 of us. Room was clean and cozy, blankets thick and smell nice too. Large towels. Love the design of the bungalow, well ventilated windows. Wooded floors well poloisehd. It has a big varendah with sofas and table, just nice to hang around at night. Landscape is maintained well too. We paid 1000bh and pleasantly it comes with breakfirst.

Chilled out
Nice place! stayed here for almost a week. Love the gardens, and for those of us who don't want to party all night it's a pretty nice chill out spot. Rooms where nice, if a little cold at night. But the herbal sauna is working, although didn't try it out personally, someone else staying there said it was amazing though, they have massage aswell.
