Golden Hut, a walk down Chaisongkran to the river and a left along the dirt track, has two great river view chalets then a few more average ones set in the garden behind. The garden is okay and the basic huts with shared bathroom are okay too if you don't mind basic, but the large pond may be a concern to those who don't cope well with mossies. The river view chalets are worth waiting for so maybe you could hang out in the garden ones for a day or two if you've a chance of moving into one. (Note they state that they do not take advance bookings.) Their short river frontage is taken up by a nice cafe and the two said huts are squeezed between the larger Breeze of Pai and Wang Chang Puak Resorts.
