Pai Klang Na
Upmarket Lanna huts in a paddy field

What we say:
Huts at Pai Klang Na are about as expensive a bamboo hut as you will find. Set in the middle of a paddy field, literally, there's no way you could complain about lack of space. The huts may look basic from afar, but up close you'll notice the nice touches of artistry and craftsmanship, and the interiors are spotless. Huts have a decent deck for relaxing, but the restaurant seems to be the place to chill if you like to be social. Deluxe bungalows come with DVD players and minibar and the resort has free WiFi internet throughout. With only seven huts and a view like this, you're paying for the tranquil exclusivity here, but the high season prices are very high for a fan bungalow.
