Great chalets in a great garden plus pool

What we say:
A change from the proliferation of European - Thai run places around -- this one is Australian - Thai owned. And very nice too, with a delightful garden full of ginger and heliconias and very nicely designed chalets with a superb little pool as well. The 10 chalets are wooden, octagonal and can actually open on six sides, leaving your mosquito net covered bed open to the night air. Great for a warm night! (The en suite bathrooms don't open on all sides.) Good one for families this, since, as well as the pool, there's a little playground. Situated just by Mae Yen village, it's a fair walk from Pai but easily doable for the energetic. Rates are very reasonable and service friendly and helpful.

Aqua Resort - HIGHLY recommended!
Set just outside the main centre of town, AQUA RESORT is a wonderful haven of tranquillity, and owners Mel and Den will ensure your stay in Pai is welcoming and comfortable. Not only will they help you get the most from your time there and experience what you want from your stay, the actual resort that they have built around a natural stream with a stunning view as a backdrop is absolutely amazing. Beautiful bungalows, chill-out gazebos, play area, full-size teepees, hammocks everywhere and (best of all in my opinion!!) a great pool to soak up the rays!!! I rarely take the time to recommend places to stay even though as a traveller myself, I value the opinion and past experiences of others. But in this case, I cannot recommend enough AQUA RESORT as the place to stay when in Pai – I know I will be staying there next time I’m in Pai!

Amazing Place
Amazing Resort. Family Friendly as well as very romantic. Great place to meet people. Cool Bungalows, clever design. Worth a visit. Not much written about it but I see they now have a Facebook Page. Google Aqua Resort Pai and you will see lots of photos.
