Lisu Homestay
Meet locals, learn handicrafts

What we say:
Lisu Homestay is an interesting spot, hidden away at the top of Nong Thong village, a short walk from 'downtown' Soppong, and run by an enterprising Lisu/American couple. Basic but comfortable facilities and home-cooked Lisu fare are on offer, and you can either just hang out there or sign up for one of the numerous courses they run: meditation, yoga, massage, silver-making, detox and so on. There's plenty of information on the surrounding area, such as what hikes to take. Full board (a vegetarian option is available) and room comes for a mere 300B per day, and the courses are all set at 700B for four hours per day. If you can't be bothered to hike up the hill, give them a call and they'll pick you up from the bus stop.
