Prangtong Mansion
Pua’s best budget option

What we say:
Hidden in Pua down the hill from the main highway, this hotel turned out to be quite a find. At the end of a gravel drive – but still visible from the street -- Prangtong houses several surprisingly large and very well maintained rooms. The beds may have been the biggest we’ve seen, and the bathrooms were very clean and well sized. Each room has TV, and fan and air-con rooms are both available. As we expected, the staff does not speak English, but if you are looking for a cheap, clean, comfortable place to stay in Pua, this is most certainly the spot. On highway 1080, heading east/north away from Nan city towards Thung Chang, turn left on the road opposite the junction with Highway 1081 (1056). Go down this road about 300-400 metres until you reach a small traffic circle (ie a red and white barrel in the middle of a 3-way intersection). Go left at the traffic circle and continue on about 200 metres, and the gravel drive leading to Prangtong will be on your left, accompanied by a large yellow sign.
